NDA Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Candidates must be citizens of:
- India, Nepal, or Bhutan
- Certain categories of Tibetan refugees and persons of Indian origin (as per UPSC norms)
Educational Qualification
For Army Wing :
- 10+2 pass (any stream – Science, Commerce, or Arts)
For Air Force & Navy :
- 10+2 pass with Physics and Mathematics
Students appearing in 12th are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit :
- 16½ to 19½ years
- Both male and female candidates are eligible
Physical & Medical Standards
Candidates must be physically and mentally fit as per prescribed defence medical standards.
NDA Selection Process
- Written Examination (900 marks)
- Mathematics – 300 marks
- General Ability Test – 600 marks (English, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Polity, Current Affairs)
SSB Interview (5 days)
- Screening Test
- Psychological Tests
- Group Tasks
- Personal Interview
- Conference
- Medical Examination
